Sabbath the 24th of June the UK went to Chesterfield where they had been invited by a member of Chesterfield SDA church, Michael Clayton to help with distributing books 📚 in a community gala event near the church. We had arrived by 11.15 am and the members of the Chesterfield distribution group had already pitched in the open field. Among those who were present from GFCM group were, brother Chris, Robert, Garry, sister Sharon and Hannah. Some members of Chesterfield SDA church were present to help. There were many stands in the field and many people were present. It was sunny ☀️ and people were in a festive mood. We took our tables out and put books on top and the materials which we had to give out. The response from the people was good as quite a number of people came to our stand to interact with us and take books. Some people came to the table to enquire about books and they were glad to have some. Some took fruits 🍉 Health books and magazines went out as well. At the children’s corner, Sharon shared books and some seeds and some manure in small containers for children to plant 🪴 🌱 so that they can learn about nature and how plants grow in a practical way. We managed to give out quite a number of books. It’s my prayer that those who took books will be led by the Holy Spirit to read them and be ready for the coming of the Lord.
