The ministry in South Africa was invited via Western Suburbs Church to assist with a spiritual table during their Health Expo day. We were given a slot to set up at the entrance to the Hunters Retreat Spar between 9am and 12pm. There was load shedding until 10am which is when we only really got started. Nonetheless, we had a really positive response during the two hours with 43 x Ministry of Healing, 35 x Prophets and Kings, 56 x Steps to Christ, 65 x Great Controversies, 67 x Desire of Ages and 4 x Bibles being given out. Along with these, we managed to collect 8 names and numbers which were taken down at the spiritual table from passers-by and 31 names from those who went through the health checks. There was one man who came to collect a prescription from the pharmacy and took a Ministry of Healing and GC on his way past the table. Another man had just heard about the sabbath from a friend and was keen to receive books and pamphlets. There was a diversity of people who took books on the day with a lot of interest in receiving more information. There was one couple where the lady was an SDA and the husband an NG Kerk where he explained how for years he did not come to the truth until he watched Marc Woodman's series, "Gods Final Call" and after finishing the series everything his wife was saying made sense. We plan to get together with Western Suburbs Church next Sabbath after divine service to plan how to respond to all the names and numbers which were collected. A big thanks to Western Suburbs Church for inviting the ministry to take part in this special day where we were able to lean on the health message, the right hand of the gospel. Maranatha.
