By God's grace, the rain finally cleared up and it warmed somewhat just in time for our arranged distribution at speakers Corner this past Sabbath the 21st December. We did not preempt it, but Bethel church had been expecting us, for they also had a witnessing program on giving out food hampers for the needy. After handing the food hampers out the Bethel group came to assist with the distribution.
Brother Talent the founder of Load Cry Ministries was also there and set up his stand further down the high street. This made a big impact on passing souls and with two individual stands in close proximity, it made a big impact on the day.
Young and old got involved and GFCM ended up giving out 400 GC and 50 Desire of Ages along with 60/8 health law magazines and 800 Sabbath/State of the dead tracks. In the end, all the books and material ended up going out in a record hour and a half.
We would like to thank the organizers for a well-arranged event that was welcomed and trust all who took part received a blessing on the day.
We need to pray that those who were handed books will come to the truth sooner than later.
GFCM looks forward to another joint venture with the Bethel SDA church in the not too distant future.
